Movie Theater
Have you checked out Carolina Cinemas Sandhills Ten? With reclining seats and clean, modern amenities, it’s the perfect place to catch all the latest movies. Swing by for Treat Yourself Tuesday and get tickets for only $7, every Tuesday, all day long. And if your child has a birthday coming up, be sure to inquire about party room reservations and theater rentals.​
Pollywogs Play Pad
Leap Into Play! Pollywogs offers loads of space to let the kids get all of their energy out. Kids ages 7 and under love to play and explore in their imaginative play stations. Need some time alone? Bring the kids for Date Night Drop Off most Saturdays from 5-8 (Check their Facebook page to see if it's "on" this week.)
Sandhills Discovery Room
This interactive learning area at Weymouth Woods Nature Preserve allows visitors to discover what makes the longleaf forest so special through a variety of hands-on displays for all ages. The room is open daily 8am-4pm.
Air Museum
The kids will love seeing the planes at the James Rogers McConnell Air Museum dedicated to James Rogers McConnell, the Carthage native who fought for France in WWI before the United States became involved in the war. Currently, five WWI era planes are housed in the museum, along with various memorabelia.

Bowling/Arcade

Pottery Painting
9th of September on Midland Road in Southern Pines is a fun, hip paint-your-own-pottery studio that kids LOVE! They've been in business for over 23 years, and for good reason. From mugs to ornaments to plates, figurines, and more there's something that every child will enjoy making their own.

Southern Pines Library
