Paint Your Own Pottery

9th of September in downtown Southern Pines is a fun, hip paint-your-own-pottery studio that kids LOVE!  They've been in business for over 17 years, and for good reason!  From mugs to ornaments to plates, there's something that every child will enjoy making their own.  Be sure to say hello to owner, Eugenie.  She's the best!

Given Memorial Library

Sandhills Discovery Room

This interactive learning area at Weymouth Woods Nature Preserve allows visitors to discover what makes the longleaf forest so special, through a variety of hands-on displays for all ages.  The room is open daily 8am-4pm.
