Golf Capital Chorus
The mission of Golf Capital Chorus is to actively engage in and promote barbershop harmony singing that provides enjoyment and fellowship for its members, quality entertainment for its audiences and financial support for its designated charities. Membership is open to any male who has some voice capability, an “ear” for music, likes to sing and have fun.
Junior League of Moore County
The Junior League of Moore County is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Kiwanis Club of the Sandhills
Kiwanis is a Global Organization of Volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. The Kiwanis Club of the Sandhills is dedicated to serving the local community through various service and fundraising projects. Our local club has been in service to our community for more than 93 years.
League of Women Voters
The League of Women Voters of Moore County is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and active participation in government. It influences public policy through education and advocacy. Monthly Luncheon Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month 11:30am - 1:00pm at Mid Pines Inn and Golf Club.
Moore County Choral Society
MCCS, a 100+ voice society of volunteer singers, presents two major choral concerts each year in December and April. They welcome new singers each season and auditions are not required. Singers range from high school age to adults. Student memberships are graciously underwritten by society members.
New Horizons Band
New Horizons Band in the Pines is for adults of all ages who want to make new friends and share their love of music. They welcome anyone who has some familiarity with music and has their own instrument. If you have not played for years (or decades!) and thought you never would again, this band is for you!
Sandhills Classic Street Rod Assoc.
You do not have to own a classic car, just have interest in old cars to join the Sandhills Classic Street Rods. Members attend regular cruise-ins and attend monthly meetings. The Car Club Members work to improve life for charities and organizations in the community through Christian love and they strive to help those in need.
SLAM: Sweat Like a Mother
S.L.A.M. is all about creating a community of women that come together with the mindset to make themselves stronger, motivate each other, and show their children what it means to Sweat Like A Mother. Classes are 60 minutes long and offer a variety of movements and sequences that accommodate all levels of fitness.
Toastmasters of the Sandhills
Toastmasters Club of the Sandhills meets the first three Tuesdays of the month at 6:30pm. Members include professionals of all ages and backgrounds including military, manufacturing, healthcare, education, retail, faith-based, and non-profit organizations whose goal is to become better communicators.
Women of the Pines
This organization provides assistance to those in need in our community. and works in concert with other established charities within our county to help them more effectively provide their services to the sick, the hungry, the homeless and the abused. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday, September through May
