Seven Lakes Dance

Meet the owners of 10-time consecutive National Champions and Best of the Pines “Best Dance Studio” winner in 2018 and 2019...Seven Lakes Dance!  Marcie Milbredt and Lauren Tierney are sisters and natives of Seven Lakes. Their Moore County roots run deep, as both are graduates of Pinecrest High School where their grandfather, JR Brendell, was the first principal!  They grew up dancing through high school and both continued dancing on into college at Appalachian State University. The girls and their parents all live within a few miles of one another and they love living in Moore County!

Realizing that the art of dance impacted their lives in so many positive ways, Marcie and Lauren decided to share their love of dance with others.  What started as a summer recreational program in 1997 has grown to a full studio with over 150 students and 5 competition teams! They even recently added 2 fully-licensed physical therapists to their staff to focus on injury prevention through strengthening and refining movement patterns.  The staff at Seven Lakes Dance strives to improve not only each student’s dance ability, but also their physical and emotional strength, sense of responsibility, and their self-confidence.

And now, let’s introduce you to their amazing staff.  Pictured in the group photo front row (left to right) are:
