Aberdeen Lake Park
Aberdeen Lake Park in Aberdeen offers a 2 -mile lake trail, fishing, boating (no gas engines), a playground, and a gazebo, picnic shelter and recreation center (each available for rental).
Lake Luke Marion
Lake Luke Marion in Carthage is a stocked lake with a pier, picnic tables and a 1/3 mile walking trail. No swimming is allowed.
Crystal Lake
Located just off US 1 North of Southern Pines, Crystal Lake is a 57-acre lake near Lakeview.
Fishing, non-motorized boats, kayaks, and canoes are permitted. There is a concrete ramp convenient for putting in.
Reservior Park
This 165-acre park in Southern Pines is home to a 95-acre lake offering fishing, boating (no motor boats), nature trails around the lake, picnic areas, grills and even an 18-hole disc golf course.
Powell's Pond
Powell's Pond is a 14-acre pond located in Ray's Mill Park in Aberdeen. Fish from the pier or from any non-motorized boat/kayak/canoe.
