The 22-acre estate affords the best of modern conveniences in a historic landmark setting.
The Fair Barn is the oldest surviving early 20th-century fair exhibition hall in North Carolina. It was built in 1917 for use at the Sandhills Fair. Restored in 2002, The Fair Barn is now a gathering place for weddings, receptions, exhibitions, private parties, and any other functions.
The Given Book Shop is a unique historic building with a rich history available for your special event. Rolling book shelves allow for casual parties or sit down dinners. Rehearsal dinners, birthday parties and retirement celebrations are just some of the events hosted in this special place.
For a smaller gathering such as a reception, birthday party, teen party, graduation celebration, etc. check out Carolina Dance Works. Their beautiful studio is available for rent on Saturdays and Sundays and there is plenty of room for your guests to dance and have a great time. For just $250, you receive 1 hour of set up time, 3 hours of party time, 1 hour of clean up time and 2 staff members.
Black Rock Vineyard is a small vinifera vineyard in the upper part of Moore County. The vineyard is offsite from the tasting room, but the tasting room with outdoor patio is a great venue for luncheons, baby showers, or other intimate gatherings. In addition to their great wine, they also sell pasture-fed lamb, raised right in the vineyards.
