Spooktacular Lights

Load up the family in the car and enjoy Spooktacular Lights, brought to you by the same family who puts on Holly Jolly Lights at Christmas time.  Tune your radio to98.9 and enjoy the lights & music from the comfort of your car.  It's fun and free!

Farley Family Lights
When:  Saturdays, October 5th-26th, AND Thursday, October 31st   7:30pm- 9:30pm
Where:  95 Farley Rd, Cameron
With more than 6,000 synchronized lights and special effects-- this has been described not as a light show, but an experience!  Tune your radio to 92.7 and enjoy the lights from the comfort of your car, or venture out for a closer look and enjoy the show over the PA system.  This is a free event. 
(There is NO show if there is rain or other inclement weather.)

Southern Pines Autumnfest
When:  October 5th, 9:00am - 4:00pm
Where:  Downtown Park, Southern Pines
Head to Downtown Southern Pines for the 45th Annual Autumnfest. There will be
lots of vendors, live music & entertainment, the annual 5k, youth sprint races, and
fair food galore!  

Fall Festivities

Where:  Eagles Nest Berry Farm, Jackson Springs
Enjoy a festivities at the farm to get bring in the "fall- feels". The kiddos will love the lawn games, Jack O' Launcher,  painting a pumpkin, snacks, music, and picking out their own pumpkin!

Oktoberfest at Red's

Put on your best lederhosen and enjoy beer specials, Signature Pint Glasses, and German food from Pinewurst food truck at the Octoberfest celebration at Red's Corner. Costume contest at 1pm and stein holding contest at 4pm.  

Oktoberfest Celebration

Where:  Railhouse Brewery, 105 E South Street, Aberdeen
Enjoy brats, food , music, and all the traditional Oktoberfest games! The Fayetteville Bavarian Brass Band will be playing live from 2-5pm. Sin up for games starts at noon and the contests start at 2pm. Games include:  Masskrugstemmen Stein/ Mug-Holding Contest,  Stein/ Mug Carrying Race ,  Pretzel Eating Contest,  Hammerschlagen Nail-Driving Feats of Skill. Pawtoberfest

Where:  Red's Corner, Southern Pines
Head to Red's for an event with Caring Hearts for Canine's and Lending Paws a Hand!  Red's will have Oktoberfest beers on tap, PINEWURST food truck will be here serving up all and everything you could hope for in German food! There will have a pup beer drinking contest, a costume contest for pets and humans! 
 
Father Vincent Capodanno H.S. Octoberfest

The Haunted Forest at Sycamore Lodge

Downtown Southern Pines Trick-or-Treating and Boofest

Ages 12 and under are invited to trick-or-treat at the local downtown businesses in Southern Pines at 5 pm, then head to Downtown Park at 5:30 pm for Halloween-themed games, crafts, activities, and the best dog costume raffle.  All children must be accompanied by a guardian.
